Return and Exchange Policy
Order Cancellations & Refunds
All orders placed with Northeast Cork Bark are shipped within 48 hours for efficient delivery. If you wish to cancel an order, written notice must be sent to contact@northeastcorkbark.com within 48 hours of placing the order to successfully cancel and receive a full refund—no exceptions. Orders successfully canceled within this timeframe will be refunded in full to the original payment method.
Returns
Due to the nature of the natural products we sell, we typically do not offer product returns once the package has been shipped. The natural cork bark you would receive in any and every order has been heat-treated, cleaned, and is stored in secure environments to ensure the integrity and safety of the products. This guarantee is of the utmost importance to us in providing you with a high quality product that you can trust. However, if you do receive a product that qualifies as damaged or defective for any reason outside of your control (natural circumstances, complications in the shipping process, wrong order shipped by Northeast Cork Bark, or any other reason caused directly by Northeast Cork Bark), we are always happy to resolve the issue with the utmost care to ensure we are doing right by every customer that does business with us.

Replacements & Exchanges
Orders that have already been shipped cannot be canceled or refunded, but if you receive a defective or damaged product due to natural circumstances, complications in the shipping process, or an error caused directly by Northeast Cork Bark you can submit a claim for a replacement product or an exchange. Northeast Cork Bark sells 100% natural products that have been heat-treated for integrity. Once products have been shipped and opened, returns are generally not approved, but exceptions may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis for replacements and exchanges.
To be eligible for an exchange, the item must be in the same condition as received, unused, and unaltered, with the original packaging. You must initiate a claim for an exchange within 7 days of receiving the products by contacting the following email: contact@northeastcorkbark.com.
Items sent back without requesting an exchange will not be accepted.

What Qualifies as a Damaged or Defective Product?
Northeast Cork Bark supplies 100% natural products that may vary in the following parameters: color, size, shape, etc. - preferences for color, size, shape, etc. do not warrant a return or exchange. Please inspect your order upon receipt, and contact contact@northeastcorkbark.com with any concerns about defects, damages, or other errors caused by Northeast Cork Bark. Damages due to natural circumstances, complications in the shipping process, errors made by Northeast Cork Bark, and some other circumstances will qualify for a replacement or exchange product. Exchange Process
Contact the following email: contact@northeastcorkbark.com, to make a claim for a damaged or defective product. Once substantiated, a return label will be provided at the expense of Northeast Cork Bark. The product in question must be in its original packaging and condition.
Approved exchanges due to shipping errors or qualified damages will have all associated shipping costs covered by Northeast Cork Bark. For any and all other approved exchanges, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and a 20% restocking fee.
Notification and Timing
You will be notified once your exchanged product is received and inspected. If approved, you will receive confirmation and a new replacement product will be shipped to you within 5-10 business days. If more than 10 business days pass after approval, contact contact@northeastcorkbark.com.
